Johnston: I Want My MLS TV
(Soccer365.com) - Toronto FC coach Mo Johnston is ruing the fact that his young players and foreign recruits can’t catch MLS matches on Canadian television, which he believes slows their introduction to the league.
The expansion team have lost their first two games by a combined 6-0 tally and the boss is concerned that his boys must work harder to keep tabs on the opposition – such as Kansas City, who the club play twice this week.
"I'm a great believer that you have to be able to know your opposition inside and out," he told the Toronto Star. "We have guys who don't even know who Eddie Johnston is, but it's not their fault."
"It's vital that we have every game available, not only for one week, but for the upcoming weeks."
