Juve After Atlético MG Keeper
(Soccer365.com) - According to his agent, Atlético MG netminder Diego is currently receiving the hard sell from Italian giants Juventus.
The Bianconeri have Italy #1 Gianluigi Buffon on the books, but believe he may move abroad in the near future and feel the Brazilian would make a wonderful apprentice.
"I have received several enquiries from Italian teams, especially from Juventus, who would loan Diego to Treviso," Fernando Benadine told reporters. "A month ago a scout from Juventus came to Brazil to watch Diego in action and he was impressed with his performance."
"At the moment they have one of the best keepers in the world, but they want to go on planning to have a substitute in case he leaves," he added.
"Diego holds an European Union passport, so that would make the negotiations easier."

Gigi will remain in goal for awhile; Diego can only benefit from Gigi's tutelage.

Diego is better to stay away from Italy. That league is not too healthy at the moment & lost its shine and luster.

In Italy things may get even worse,as I was told that there is another investigation starting on more scandals and Juve is the main target again?,between the out-of control fans and the corruption the once great serie A is going down the drain...........I can guarantee you that if Juve is sent back to serie B,Buffon and all the other greats will be gone.

Chances are your right. It's the owners, the one's with all the money that are ruining the league in Italy. If it keeps getting worse all the top Italian players will end up leaving to play in other more stable leagues.
