Márquez Willing To Finish Term
(Soccer365.com) - Despite being a certainty for Mexico’s Copa America roster, Barcelona defender Rafa Márquez says he may have to arrive to camp late due to the La Liga title scrap.
The Catalans are in first place, but can look down at three rabid cashers within six points.
The CONMEBOL championship, to which El Tri are a special guest, begins only nine days after the Spanish season ends.
"I have told the coach and said that I want to put Barcelona first," declared Márquez.
"I would be delighted to play in all the games and this is my plan."
