Onalfo Pleased With Marinelli Coup
(Soccer365.com) - After a long search for an attack midfield presence, Kansas City coach Curt Onalfo was glad to finally land former Boca Juniors and Middlesbrough man Carlos Marinelli ahead of the MLS deadline.
The 25-year old impressed on a two-week trial and has signed, but probably won’t be available for their weekend season opener against D.C. United.
“He’s the type of player we’ve been looking for,” Onalfo told the Kansas City Star. “He’s technically good, a great passer.”
