Reyna: Debut Wasn’t My A-Game

(Soccer365.com) - New York Red Bulls midfield general Claudio Reyna admitted that he wasn’t in top form during their season opening draw with Columbus.

The longtime European star suffered an early thigh knock in a collision with teammate Dane Richards.

"As soon as that happened, it threw me off," Reyna told the New York Daily News. "I had to sit back a little more and help the team defensively."

"It definitely affected me a little bit, it's disappointing."
