Saha Out Of Roma Match
(Soccer365.com) - Louis Saha has been ruled out of Manchester United's Champions League quarter-final decider against AS Roma with a hamstring injury.
The Frenchman has not featured for the Red Devils in over a month but had been expected to make his comeback at Portsmouth last weekend.
Instead, Saha was forced to return to Manchester for further treatment after suffering a recurrence of the problem in training on Friday.
And, while Sir Alex Ferguson is hopeful the former Fulham star will be fit for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final with Watford at Villa Park, Tuesday's Old Trafford clash comes too soon.
"We have to err on the side of caution," said United boss Ferguson.
"There is no point bringing someone back who is not 100% fit and risk further injury."
United will also be without suspended midfielder Paul Scholes, plus Gary Neville (ankle), Nemanja Vidic (collarbone) and Mikael Silvestre (shoulder).
In addition, Park Ji-sung is also ruled out for at least a fortnight after suffering a knee injury in the win over Blackburn on March 31.
"We are still assessing Ji-sung to see what we do next with him," said Ferguson.
"Hopefully the news will be good and he will only be out for a couple of weeks."

What a disaster for Man U, it's starting to look like a train wreck. Forza Roma!

Soccer dr nyc, am too much worried about ur comment! I guess Man U will go through. I saw Roma in the first leg, despite Man U being down to one man As Roma could not use that chance. The away goal mean something for Man U. As Roma was supposed to score at least 3 goals if they need to go through.

Well so much for ManU falling apart... it's 3-nil before the half is even over. How do those feet taste guys?

make that 4! wow. And I thought my guys at LiverPOOL wrecked PSV, of course that was on the road. Looks like all MAnU needed was some fools like you guys to start talking trash.

Thanks giova as well as john, what Man U did last night against As Roma will remain historical particularly at this stage!

Yo dr nyc! Hey buddy wassup! Ur very quiet huh! What happened to Roma huh know it all? A bunch of ugly English style kick & run players rolled over them. Kind of like that other English kick & run team that rolled over Barca. I shouldn't insult Roma though as they have a very good team & they are much better than Barca that's for sure. I just wanted to rub it in ur face. So how does it taste boy!

hey where is Stanley? He and his big mouth buddies have been really really quiet...maybe that's bc they were so wrong that they had to shut up. It takes a man to admit you were wrong. I guess we know the truth about you guys. john and giova came back and gave props to man u, but not Stanly/carlsberg or soccer dr.
As for today. GO POOL! make it 3 of 4 for the EPL.
