We Can Make It - Gourcuff
(Goal.com) - "Here at Milan it's not easy to earn a first team place, because there are great champions. In my position there is a certain Seedorf, so it's normal that in the coach's order he comes first."
Ahead of the important Champions League encounter against Bayern Munich, in the return leg of the quarter-finals, Milan's talented young Frenchman Yoann Gourcuff presented himself on the press conference.
The midfielder said he is very confident his side are capable of playing a great match in Munich and qualify for the semi-finals, even though the 2-2 result obtained in the first leg in Milan is a very difficult one to overturn.
"It will of course be a very difficult match - Gourcuff said - It will be important to attack out opponents from the start and possibly get a goal in the early part of the match. This way it would be easier for us to control the match and play with more serenity. In any case we will have to play with confidence and calmness. In the first leg we played well and showed we are superior to them in every department."
"My season with Milan? In the beginning it wasn't easy - the played continued - When I don't play much I tend to be more anxious, to lose confidence in my abilities, then there was also the injury. Then when I came back I played six games in three weeks and I wasn't able to find any continuity.
"Physically I feel better now and things are also going better on the pitch. Certainly it's not easy to earn a starting place at this club, because there are many great champions. In my position there is a certain Seedorf, a great player and also a great person, it's normal that in the coach's hierarchy I'm behind him.
"My objective is to improve all the time as much as possible. I'm not worried about the future but I live by the day, and now I'm happy to have found a certain continuity. Obviously my ambition is to play more, but in any case right now it's OK like this, I know what I'm worth and I know that when the coach calls me I can give my contribution to the team. That's why I am serene."

I want Bayern to bury Milan. Just roll over them & then punt them back in the direction they came from.
