Blanco: I Aim To Help Fire Win
(Soccer365.com) - New Chicago Fire star Cuauhtémoc Blanco has let it be known that he is expecting to have pressure to perform, and that he intends to earn every penny the team is paying him.
Several big names have come to MLS with less than professional work standards, but the Mexico attacker claims he will do the business after arriving from Club América.
"If things don't go well, the press and the fans aren't going to be happy," Blanco told the Chicago Tribune. "I am a professional."
"I didn't go there to steal this money that they are giving me."
