Canadian Players Getting Antsy
(Soccer365.com) - With presumed appointee Rene Simoes now out of the picture, Canada midfield ace Julián De Guzmán says the squad are tiring of the federation’s search lethargy.
Not only are the national team without a coach since Frank Yallop left to take over MLS side Los Angeles, but they are also working without a chief operating officer and a technical director.
"Definitely this is frustrating for the players, coaches and fans," De Guzman told the Glove & Mail.
"(Interim coach) Stephen Hart has done well every given moment he has had to manage the team, but the CSA needs to put him or another candidate in the driver seat so he has the freedom to help the team."
