I Would Love To Play With Gerrard - Kaka
(Goal.com) - Milan play-maker Kaka has expressed his admiration for Steven Gerrard as we wind down toward's next Wednesday's bit game in Athens.
Gerrard and Kaka are expected to be the respective lynch pins of the two sides in Athens one week from now in what will be a replay of that breath-taking Istanbul final two years ago.
Liverpool will be hoping for history to repeat itself, while Milan will want revenge.
However, for once, the animosity has been left behind, with the players choosing to commend each other.
Speaking about Gerrard, Kaka said: "He is an excellent player in my opinion.
"He is a modern player because he runs, marks, knows how to pass, cross, score goals and he is a leader on the field for Liverpool.
"He is a player that I would like to have in my team."
Gerrard, in turn, has also praised Kaka for his contribution to this Milan team: "You have to look at Kaka as one of their most dangerous players because he scores a lot of goals and has a lot of assists.
"You have to show a lot of respect to him."
Definitely the kind of vibes we want to see more of, as two of the three biggest clubs in European competitions face off!
