Kinnear: Moreno Will Be Missed

(Soccer365.com) - Houston coach Dominic Kinnear admitted that it was difficult to deal away Alejandro Moreno, a cog in last season’s championship run.

The forward was traded to Columbus for speedy attacker Joseph Ngwenya.

"It was a very tough decision," Kinnear told the Houston Chronicle. "We think the world of Alejandro and we wish him the best with his new team."

For his part, Moreno figured it was probably the best career move, although he said it was hard to leave Houston with his family.

"Soccer-wise, it would seem that it would be the best thing for me," he stated. "It's no secret I fell out of favor here in Houston."
