Well I think Terry's gripe about those two losers' Ballack & Sheva is right as after all Terry is a good player & a good leader on the field & he walks the walk but for Lampard to actually say anything is a joke. Sure Sheva has choked in the EPL big time & sure Ballack has not done much better but Lampard is worse than both of them. Lampard should consider himself lucky he's playing in the EPL & for the national team as if he goes to Spain or Italy to play he will choke big time. Lampard is just not good enough to play club soccer in either one of those countries. He's too weak!

This is a bit surprising to me. Not that the Ballack/Shevchenko situation has bred some discontent among Chelsea players, but that it's John Terry that is threatening to leave. He seems like a loyal kind of guy who would avoid the blame game and just settle things on the field.

Good point yoyo. Thing is Terry has been carrying his weight all year long on the field while the loser twins Ballack & Sheva have not so I can see Terry's point. As for Lampard he should stay quiet & keep his mouth shut. He's lucky he's even making a living as a professional player. All this talk about Lamaprd maybe going to Barcelona is hard to believe & really makes me laugh. I can't understand why a club like Barcelona would even think about signing a sub-par player like Lampard. He would really fail there!

Dave, you should really start watching chelsea play and lampard because you don't know what you're talking about. Lampard is one of the best center mids in the world. Spain and Italy are weak leagues compared to the EPL. So before you open your mouth you should really watch and learn more about the game.

I think it's a bit harsh to say Spain & Italy have weak leagues. Afterall Milan is in the final of the Champions League so that speaks volumes about the quality & talent of teams to be found in the serie A. Lampard is of course a good player. Noticed I said good player, he's by no means a great player & by no means is he one of the best midfield player's in the world. If anything the few times he has been left out of the lineup for England's national team Gerrard has shined & England has ended up with much better results. When he's thrown into the national team's mix it really clogg's up their midfield & throws everyones' game off. As far as great English midfield players' go you can say Gigg's Scholes' & Gerrard are some of the best in the EPL but not Lampard. Sorry, not to argue with you but it's true.

its all trash. Terry would never leave the Bridge. Besides, Sheva will be sold this summer so terry will get his money. It won't matter though because united will make a huge signing and defend their title as champions

I still think Lampard is way overated. He's been lucky enough to always be on teams where he has players' that are way more better than he is to work with. Still hard to believe a team like Barcelona would be even talking with him. He would really be out classed going there as even Barcelona's bench warmers are better than he could ever hope to be.

Terry is right. He should leave. And for Frank Lampardwho cares.

Hey guys' did you see the FA Cup today? It was about as exciting as watching golf or American baseball which is to say boring. Both teams looked burned out & that's to be expected when you consider how many games all the club teams in Europe now play beyond their regular league games. These players' do not even get a proper Summer vacation as most of the bigger well known teams go do tours now. It's no wonder there are so many players' that carry nagging injuries through the year. All these extra games are great for the fans' as we get to see a lot more soccer being played but I think the overall quality of the games start to slip as the year drags on. I know these players' make very large sums of money but still they should be given more time off between seasons.

Terry's gripe about Ballack and shevcenko maybe valid,but overpaying he and Lampard is not the solution. Shevchenko won't be a member of Chelsea for long, Ballack is a great player who had an off year. Terry wouldn't survive in Italy or Germany.

Rasputin, I said Italy and Spain are weaker than England, not that it is a weak league. Both are very good leagues. But the EPL is best in the world and it was proved by three teams being in the semis. The first time done by any country. Also for the past 3 years there's been an EPL team in the finals. Another thing is all four EPL teams made to the knock out stage this year, which is phenominal. Yes, the Serie A is good and congrats to AC for making it to the finals. But remember who knocked out last years champs, Liverpool- the EPL. Another for Lampard he's been Chelsea's leading scoring for three year's in a row until this year. The years he was a leading scorer they won the Premiership. Of course Gerrard is better than Lampard everyone knows that, even Lampard knows that. In Euro Cup 2004 Lampard proved his wroth to Englad, and recently has had a dip in form with England. Everyone has that from time to time. You can't say Gigg's is one of the best English mids when he's Welsh. You can say he's one of the best mids in England, now that would be a true statement. Just letting you know. Not to argue with, but I'm just stating the facts.

Of course the EPL is by far one of the best professional leagues in Europe & the world & if for some reason Liverpool beat's AC Milan this week that would really make your point much more valid but I happen to think the leagues in Spain & Italy are on equal level with the EPL as year after year. Decade after decade they produce just like the EPL the best & most powerful club teams in the sport. As for Lampard they need to pull him from the midfield mix as far as England's national team are concerned as he is a good player but by far England has much better midfield players' to compliment Gerrard such as Joe Cole & Owen Hardgreaves to name few. Gerrard & Lampard have never played well together in the middle for the national team & since Gerrard is by far the better of the two Lampard should be removed from the mix. Gerrard & Lampard are both English but the clear difference between both is Lampard's style is quite limited as he play's straight up English soocer where Gerrard has more of an international flavor to his game & his track record on the international level regardless if it's been with the national team or club level is much better than Lampards.

i think this is absolute craziness, terry is an excellent player for us who deserves top-whack money.

people could start the premiership players get too much but in this day and age this is the world and wages will grow as with inflation.

+ Frank lampard they are definetly people who derserve this money.

Sell shevchenko and ballack.
