Capello "As Charged Up As The Team"
(Goal.com) - Fabio Capello insisted that Real Madrid were up an ready for Saturday evening's game with Real Zaragoza.
The press conference began with talk of Beckham's fitness.
"He only jogged and didn't do any technical exercises." Capello revealed. "He says the sprain hurts a bit but that he will be fine to play tomorrow because he nevertheless feels okay."
"I think he played as well as he is currently playing here," he continued, speaking of the Englishman's showing with england.
"He was very important in those fixtures; his cross for the second goal was extraordinary."
"This game is another 'final' for us, like all the rest," he said, attention switching back to Real Zaragoza.
"It's obviously been hard to prepare for such an important match in only one day, but I am confident of playing well tomorrow.
"The players know they can win and they talk with each other.
"I liked their attitude today because they really looked like a united team. They were more motivated this morning than ever before in days prior to a game.
"They all know tomorrow's fixture is terribly important. I'm as excited as they are."
"I'm happy with the fact that Zaragoza need to win to play in the UEFA Cup next year. They won't be relaxed and the game will be hard for both teams. Psychologically, the game will be equally important for us both."

Capello is like a cat. He has nine lives. He's really not in the mold of the classic Italian manger say like Lippi. Capello has always had the good fortune of being in charge of strong clubs with a stable of star players'. No matter how Madrid end's up this year in Spain it will not shock me if he's given the boot. He's good enough to run a smaller less important club but in no way is he qualified to run a big one like Madrid as he can't keep the ego's of name players' in check. This year was a perfect example. Plus he goes back on his word. Look how he's kissed up to Beckham. Big mistake. It's the mark of a weak manager.

I don't think thats true. The whole reason why he was brought in was because he is an enforcer. He got took care of the fat players selling ronaldo and benching Cassano. But the biggest thing he has done is brought in Ruud. Say what you want about him, but without him in front of goal, Real Madrid are nothing, and Capello was one of the main reasons behind the move

Everywhere Capello goes he end's up leaving that club in worse condition than when he took it over.
