Drogba Calls On Blues To Show Wild Side
(Goal.com) - Chelsea striker Didier Drogba believes his side must be more adventurous next season.
The Blues picked up the domestic cup double but were criticised for being efficient rather than spectacular, and Drogba wants to see a change.
"It would be good to be more flamboyant and daring," he told The Sun.
"We were too careful, too sensible last season. The team needs to be a bit wilder."
After the disappointment of surrendering the Premiership title to Manchester United, Drogba says manager Jose Mourinho is relishing the challenge next season
"I have had Mourinho on the phone several times since the end of the Premiership and he is all psyched up," he added.
"That is when he is at his best, when he has the feeling the whole world is against him. He is a winner who adores difficulty. It stimulates him."
Drogba was quoted on Tuesday as saying he could leave Chelsea for a fresh challenge in a foreign country.
