Yeah it pretty much is always the same as all the countries you'v mentioned have the strongest & richest FA's in the sport. It's almost as easy to perdict what clubs will be playing in the CL year in, year out. It's the same old thing. I always like seeing the rare newbies making their marks in these cups. It adds more flavor & color to the game in general. You might want to take a look at the two Irelands' though as for tiny countries they are doing pretty well. Matter of fact Northern Ireland's David Healey leads the Euro qualifying so far with most goals scored so far. Pretty good when you consider he's not a very big guy but still the kid does have a shark's nose for goal that's for sure!

Hi Dave,
You know I've watched a few of the Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland's matches & they have impressed me to be honest. They are doing pretty good for such small countries & your right about that player David Healey he is a very good player! That kid can really score goals!

Well done England! They absolutely dominated the game. I also have to congradulate Becks. No one can say that he wasn't instrumental in the win, setteing up 2 goals with his trademark crosses

With all the fire power England has it's about bloody time they came away with a good result but still it was against a very small team with no real proven track record until recet times. As for Becks. So sorry to say but even your dear old Grandmother would shine out there with the type of quality England teamates Becks has. Wait til he get's to the states & you will see he's nothing special. He will be playing kick the can like the rest of them there. Pretty good job England, it's a pretty good improvement but boo to Becks & Lampard.
