Fire Expect Big Blanco Boo$t
(Soccer365.com) - Chicago Fire general manager Steve Guppy reports that the club’s financial outlook has already taken a turn for the better, even before star signing Cuauhtemoc Blanco has had the chance to suit up.
The famed Mexico attacker has concluded his contract with Club América, and will join his new teammates after a short respite.
“The tone of our conversations with corporate America since (Blanco) signed has changed significantly,” Guppy told Chicago Business. “I don’t think I’m overstating it when I say that the Chicago Fire is becoming one of the most important sports brands for the Hispanic community.”
“Blanco’s impact will be seen across every aspect of this business,” he declared. “There will be an increase in sponsorship revenue, increase in parking revenue, increase in concession revenue and increase in merchandise - we’ll see a significant impact.”

I agree with this news article, Cuahutemoc is the best player there is in North America. I personally didnt pay much attention to the MLS until i knew Blanco was going to be in Chicago Fire. I am a 100 percent fan of Club America, Blancos recent team and he is a idol to me. I already bought the Chicago Fire jersey already cause of him.
