I Will Listen To Offers - David Villa

(Goal.com) - The Valencia hit man has added fuel to the fire surrounding his future, suggesting that he might be willing to listen to offers after the end of the Spanish season.

The Valencia man has six more years on his contract, and a release clause of 150 million euros, but that has not stopped speculation over his future.

He has been heavily linked with Chelsea over the last two months, and Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been mentioned in connection with him over the last few weeks.

Valencia have issued a strict hands-off warning, but the Spanish international has shown a willingness to look at offers before confirming his future.

"I know that I am being spoken of outside Spain, and that is always significant for a football player," he told Don Balón.

"If an offer arrived from abroad, then I would take a moment to stop and think about whether or not it interested me."

"I feel happy with Valencia, and have not given my future a thought," he insisted. "However, is an offer were to be tabled, I would sit down and speak."

Juventus and Chelsea are the two foreign clubs linked with him.

Please please don't go to Chelsea, what a waste that would be. That would make me sick. Come to Liverpool, play for a Spanish coach. Or stay in Valencia.

David Villa is such a great player. Personality wise he reminds me a great deal of United's Paul Scholes. Both are quiet with very little to say on the pitch or off of it to the media but both have heaven sent skills & vision. Villa has a thunder foot & scores some of the most beautiful goals I've seen in a very long time.I hope he stays with Valencia. I enjoyed watching Valencia play in Champions League this year apart from that ugly bust up at the end of the match they had with Inter Milan. Villa is still quite young so I think if he avoids serious injuries he has a fantastic career ahead of him. Spain always does so so in the world cup but they sure produce some great players with great talent & passion for the game. David Villa is one of the latest!

I THINK CHELSEA SHOULD MAKE A BID FOR DAVID VILLA .. CUZ WE ALL KNOW THAT DAVID VILLA IS THE BEST STRIKER IN THE WHOLE OF EUROPE ( EVEN THE WORLD ) .. HE'S GOT SUBLIME SKILLS AND LOTS OF TALENT.. AND JUST IMAGINE A STRIKE FORCE WITH VILLA , SHEVVA AND DROGBA .. PURE CLASS !!!

Well I hope whoever trys 2 sign Villa has mucho pesos! His club has a one hundred million buy out clause on his contract. Thats a ton of money bruthas. I hope Chelsea does not get him. He would be wasted at that club. I hate Chelsea anyways. I think the dudes better off staying wheres hes at anyways. That club is only going to get better anyways. Look how they spanked Inter Milan in champions league play this year bruthas! Not only did they beat those weirdos in the games they beat them in the brawl as well! Everybody knows those Italy guys cant fight unless they have you out numbered like 5 to 1. What a buch of wusses!

Villa has a cannon ball shot. It's like thunder coming out of his feet. He's a born striker & maybe the best striker in Europe at the moment. He's very low key off the pitch too. Quiet & soft spoken. Never really looking for media attention for the most part. He's a player with a player's heart & I hope that will never change about him. I also hope he stays with Valencia as they are an up & coming club.

David Villa will fare well no matter where he decides to play his soccer as long as he doesn't make the mistake of going to Italy as that league is in very poor shape or worse yet loses hismind & goes to the junk league of all junk leagues in America, the MLS.

I support Man utd they hav dun brill this year.Ronaldo iz da best in da world, three great signings. The one big signing left that would help utd iz that David Villa doesn't go to Chelsea {he would not fit in he would be wasted there, Chelsea du not play az gud az footy az Valencia he would fit in more at Arsenal or Utd}.Also i exspecialy hope he does not go to Liverpool,{again he would b wasted}.To b honest i think Valencia deserve to keep him for the way they play footy always 2nd 3rd or 4rth in da last couple of years but next season bearing mind they keep David Villa witch i think they will do, they will hit the jackpot. The champions league.Anybody readin dis out there watch Valencia one night u will see how gud they are.I probably sound like a Valencia fan but i can esure u i am not i have the red of Utd runnin through my brains.I do like Valencia as my faviorate european team though.Cum on u red devils for next season, bad luck to Chelsea the Gooners an the Scousers an i can't forget City i hate them all,but a hint of gud luck 2 Sunderland for keano an for maby the Brumy's for brucey but a doubt they will stay up.An a hint of gud luck 2 Valencia also.Fergies red army 2 win the league again an again.

That's the best asnwer of all time! JMHO
