Last Gasp Cardozo Stuns Azteca
(Soccer365.com) - Paraguay scored an exceedingly rare Azteca Stadium away win thanks to a last minute 1-0 winner from Oscar Cardozo in Mexico’s final CONCACAF Gold Cup tune-up.
The hosts were booed off the field after a testy friendly encounter.
Cuauhtemoc Blanco nearly gave Mexico the lead shortly after the break, but his effort only found the woodwork.
Nelson Cuevas keyed the fatal counter attack, which was finished off by substitute Cardozo.
