Reyna Salutes Angel ‘Quality’
(Soccer365.com) - New York midfield general Claudio Reyna says the team knew right away that strike catch Juan Pablo Angel would take MLS by storm, as evidenced by a quick fire Wednesday night double that topped Toronto FC.
The hosts led on a Jeff Cunningham slump buster, but the Aston Villa transplant struck twice in three mid-second half to flip the result.
Angel now has bagged seven goals and two assists in his first six matches with the Red Bulls.
"His quality is here to see," Reyna told MLSNet. "As soon as we signed him, I knew he would score loads of goals in this league."
"He's a great professional, a great team player and he cares more about winning than his two goals."

Angel is tearing it up! He was a very smart signing for NY. He is the top player in the MLS right now.
