Capello Considers MLS Move
(Soccer365.com) Italian coach Fabio Capello has admitted he may follow in the footsteps of David Beckham and move to Major League Soccer.
Capello, dismissed by the Real Madrid board last month despite guiding the Spanish giants to the Primera Liga title, revealed he has since declined offers from other teams in Europe but remains open-minded on the possibility of a move to North America.
He said: "I have received interesting offers from Dinamo Kiev and Lokomotiv Moscow but I have turned them down.
"I have had offers from the United States but I have to consider it.
"It would be a new experience that would be intriguing, not so much for the money but to see if someone is able to make American soccer finally take off."
The arrival of the 61-year-old to Major League Soccer would be a further boost to the sport's profile in the US, with Beckham's move to Los Angeles Galaxy having already increased global interest in the league.
The highly-rated tactician has an impeccable track record, having won domestic league titles at every club he has coached - Madrid, AC Milan, Roma and Juventus.
