Castillo Grabs Copa Spotlight

(Soccer365.com) - Mexico attack sensation Nery Castillo says he is having the time of his life at Copa América, and it shows in his play.

It’s been a long road for the 23-year old, whose entrance into the line-up was delayed by paperwork, injury and coaching decisions by Hugo Sanchez, but he has taken his chance in a big way.

The Olympiakos ace grabbed headlines for his Gold Cup final display, then has scored in El Tri’s opening two group wins in South America.

"This is the most important moment in my career, and I'm taking advantage of it," Castillo told MedioTiempo. "I'm trying to give everything on the field."

VIVA MEXICO!

He is so good

One of the top 5 players in central and south america. Lots of skill and some to spare even.

You guys are right. Castillo is one of the best in Latin America. Lot's of young under 21 Mexican players nipping at his heels as well. I think in the next few years we just might see a very big improvement from Mexico at the senior international level.

Yo Ken dude, yeah, This guy's the real deal! I saw their, I guess it was youth national team play the other day in that youth world cup & those guys are very good. Those kids just might be giving the bigger national teams from around the world some problems down the road dudes!

Castillo is very good, gives defenders fits. It's time for Mexico to show Borgetti the bench permanently. Castillo teams up well with Guardado. Plus, they have teenagers Carlos Vela (Arsenal) and Giovanni Dos Santos (Barcelona) on the U-20 team.

is carlo vela shloud played with barcelona

he is a very good player watch him play in champions league with Shakhtar Donestk

Yo yo yo its me ronaldinho and i think that castillo should ditch the ukrainian team and go to the EPL or La Liga
