Celtic Eyes All-Star Victory
(Soccer365.com) Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has alleviated any concerns his Scottish champs will view the MLS All-Star Game as just another preseason friendly contest.
"First of all, we want to win, because we're competitive animals, and so is the MLS," Strachan told MLSNet. "That's why we've got to this level, because we're competitive people."
"The last couple years have been good, two championships, two cups, knockout stage of the Champions League - we hope to continue the good work, and we hope that coming to America will help us prepare for that."
While a win is still the goal, the coach admits he will alter their normal tactics to account for the heat and the full size Dick’s Sporting Goods Park field.
"The strategy may be a bit different, because it's so warm and the pitch is so big," he revealed. "We'll try to play a quick game, but we're only humans - we have to take to the conditions."

haha, he said they're animals, then says they're only humans. way to cross up those cliches Gordo! I bet MLS will win. they took the Chelsea match superserious last year and won, if they do the same thing this year they can beat celtic in preseason form.

The celtic team is fat and out of shape. The mls all star team is in the middle of their season. Still though the celtic should beat the mls team.

As a suggestion Newcastle United should come play the M.L.S. allstars next year at the columbus crew stadium. Just a suggestion.
