EJ Eager To Pull KC Shirt On
(Soccer365.com) - Kansas City forward Eddie Johnson is back from a long spell of international duty and ready to help the struggling Wizards crank up the offense again.
The U.S. striker left having bagged consecutive hat tricks for the West leaders, but the attack and collection of results has sputtered in his absence.
Johnson suits up for the Wizards again this weekend as they host Real Salt Lake.
“I can’t say one guy (can turn it around),” he began to the Kansas City Star. “But I think the competitiveness I have week-in and week-out here can push others.”
“Offensively, it’s going to take all of us forwards to put goals in the back of the net - that’s what we’re paid to do.”
Concluded Johnson: “I can’t wait to get back out there.”

Eddie johnson should help kc win some matches. Hopefully he can stay healthy and score some goals. Teh biggest contribution will be a threat. So the other teams defense has to watch out for him which will open up space for other players.
