No Nerves From Debutant Blanco
(Soccer365.com) Fast Chicago favorite Cuauhtémoc Blanco insisted he felt no great pressure in starting his Fire tenure with a special goal to tie friendly foe Celtic on Sunday.
The Mexico star dribbled past two flummoxed defenders before rounding the keeper to put his side ahead at the half hour.
"I wasn't nervous," Blanco assured reporters. "If I was a nervous person, I wouldn't have played in World Cups."
