Report – Fire Close To Wanchope

(Soccer365.com) According to the Chicago Tribune, the Fire are closing in on the capture of Costa Rica strike star Paulo Wanchope.

"We are in the final discussions to bring a striker in," claimed Chicago GM Steve Guppy, without naming anyone specifically.

The 30-year old former Manchester City and West Ham ace was most recently under contract with FC Tokyo.
