Rookie Imports Lead MLS Victory
(Soccer365.com) First year revelations Juan Pablo Angel and Juan Carlos Toja netted first half goals to pace the MLS All-Star team to a 2-0 win over Scottish champs Celtic at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Thursday night.
Angel made no mistake after being played in alone by Dwayne De Rosario nine minutes before halftime, and his countryman bagged a rebound shortly thereafter to complete the margin.
The Red Bulls star was honored as MVP, a designation MLS coach Steve Nicol had o qualms with. "Juan's goal was just a fantastic finish," said the Revs boss. "One-on-one with the goalie, keeps calm, goes around him and puts in the net - a superb finish."
The MLS All-Stars made good on an 8-2 shots on goal advantage in winning against foreign opposition for the fourth time in as many tries.

See the M.L.S. is very good. But Newcastle United will win if they ever play the M.L.S. Allstar team.

Yes the Us is tht good in futbol. But better than alot of countries. I mean they go into the WC. Yes they are improving but have a ways to go before theyll be able to compete against france italy brasil argentina ect. They have some great players like beasely. But certainly not enough.
