Rossi Talks Put On Hold
(Soccer365.com) Parma are playing a waiting game in their bid to lure Giuseppe Rossi back to the club from Manchester United.
Rossi had a successful second half of last season with Parma while on loan from United, and now the Italians are hoping to bring him back to the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
"We had a meeting at Folgaria with Rossi's agents," said Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi.
"We discussed the situation but we know we must wait for Manchester United to return from their tour of Asia before we know a little more about Giuseppe's future."
The 20-year-old, who was born in New Jersey, scored nine goals in 16 Serie A matches for Parma last season to lead them out of the relegation zone and to safety.
