We Need a Breather – Donovan
(Soccer365.com) Following a 3-0 loss to Chivas USA that exposed the team’s waning energy level, Galaxy star Landon Donovan admitted that the team was running on wobbly legs.
Los Angeles has played 10 games in 35 days, five of which have come on the road.
The bad news is it will get worse before it gets better for the banged up squad; they have three more games in the next week.
"I can't remember, maybe ever in the history of professional soccer, that a team has had more games in closer succession with travel, with injuries," sighed Donovan. "It sounds like excuses, but we're humans, not robots."
"Eventually guys are going to break down - a few more guys got muscle strains tonight because you just can't physically do it."

The Beckham signing was always less about wins and losses than money. And the 66,000+ fans that showed up at the RedBull/Galaxy match a couple weeks ago show that this hasn't been a flop in terms of money and generating interests. If the Galaxy continue to suck, then yeah they could have a problem sustaining interest.

the defense is playing terribly and will be until they get confidence in themselves.
