Flamengo target Milan ace Ronaldo

(Soccer365.com) Brazilian giants Flamengo claim they have started negotiations to sign AC Milan striker Ronaldo.

After agreeing a six-month loan deal for Inter Milan forward Adriano last week, Flamengo have now set their sights on the 31-year-old 1994 and 2002 World Cup winner.

"Flamengo have been authorized by Milan to talk to Ronaldo," said Flamengo president Kleber Leite told Globoesporte.

"We've had a preliminary conversation and noticed he wants to change the direction of his life.

"I have a good opinion of Ronaldo. He needs to play, whether that is in Brazil or anywhere else."

who ever spends there money on ronaldo is an idiot! just retire already.

don't get me wrong, ronaldo was one of the best in the world, but he's over the hill. it's time to retire. (it was a waste of money for milan to buy him)

Flamengo ....u are retarted! why would you buy two over the hill, fat, unmotivated, and expensive football players? yes the didnt have to be all that but...they chose too become that way. adriano is done so is ronaldo. both of them are not going to play for brasil anymore.

YOU ALL PEOPLE BUSYEEET
BECAUSE RONALDO STILL THE BEST PLAYER THE FOREVER

Whoa. Ronaldo is over the hill, but Adriano isn't finished by any means. He's fallen on hard times personally which turned into a drinking problem. But he's like what, 25??? If he can get the alchol problem gone, he can make a serious comeback. C'mon, 2 years ago he was the best striker in Italy and possibly the world. He's young, he can still do it!

best striker in the world?!?!?!?!? what adriano are u talking about! yeah this guy was good a couple of years ago but certainly not on the level of eto'o Cristiano ronaldo, rooney, robinho, henry ect....

i think ronaldo should get a change at mls becuase that where his game is right now he's getting off a injury left them back where he was 4 years ago and also staring 2 get his mind right and away from alot of pressure

Don't underestimate the brazilian clubs!! If you remember, Internacional won the club world Cup!! I do agree that Ronaldo has not played enough at
Milan to be a world class forward, but
where did players such as Robinho or Daniel Alves begin? Brazil! Ronaldo might get some brazilian spark from returning to his home country.

That's a mold-brkeaer. Great thinking!
