Milan Linked With Drogba Bid
(Soccer365.com) AC Milan are reportedly planning an audacious £20million bid for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
Although a January move his highly unlikely, the Rossoneri are prepared to wait until the end of the season to land Drogba, according to the latest speculation in Italy.
The newly crowned Club World Cup winners will be boosted by the arrival of young Brazilian Pato in the forthcoming transfer window to partner Kaka but coach Carlo Ancelotti is eager also to pounce for the Ivory Coast international to create a deadly strike force next season.
Milan have made attempts to snap up Brazilian striker Amauri from Palermo but so far negotiations have stuttered and Italian sports daily Tuttosport now report Drogba is the next major target.
Drogba's future at Stamford Bridge was centre of much debate following the end of Jose Mourinho's tenure as manager and although issues seem to have been resolved for now, it's believed he would be interested in a switch to the San Siro.

Why would milan want drogba? 20 million for that guy?! Yes, this guy can play and score goals but the style of play that milan plays and the style that drogba is used certainly will not mesh. Milan will be amazing with Pato and kaka but why dont they try to pick up a younger (yes i know drogba is young) player who fits in with their style of play?

i never said that drogba wasnt good and he is not the best striker in the world. maybe one of the best for certainly not the best. think of robinho, deco, messi, pato, etoo, henry, rooney ect.
