Real: Kaka Not Good Enough

(Soccer365.com) Real Madrid chairman Ramon Calderon has surprised the press with claims that Kaka would struggle to make the first team at the Bernabeu.

The Milan star was handed the FIFA Player of the Year award on Monday in addition to his European Footballer of the Year honour but Calderon, who promised to sign Kaka before being elected president of Real last year, believes it would be hard to improve the Spanish club at the moment.

"The [Real] team is very complete and it would be difficult to make it better," Calderon told a Madrid radio station.

"I might appear arrogant but Kaka would perhaps not have a place in the current Real Madrid team."

His outstanding statement has been put down to the "euphoria" ahead of Real's match with arch-rivals Barcelona on Sunday by Spanish newspapers.

They are currently four points clear of Barca at the top of the table.

Brazilian Kaka has starred in Milan's run to the UEFA Champions League title, the European Super Cup and the recent Club World Cup.

The 25-year-old is expected to extend his contract with AC Milan until 2012 or 2013 according to reports.

How could you think that about KAKA he could play on any team and be a star.

What?! How could Madrid think that Golden Ball, Fifa Player of the Year Kaka not good enough?! He's better than Raul, Robinho, or Nistelrooy. He is one of, if not the best, player in the world. I'm shocked and disgusted to hear such comments.

i love barce but real is right kaka is not the best

been a while since ive posted hear but this just disgusts me. Obviously Calderon is still smarting from Kaka shutting the door in his big round face. I like Madrid and everything but its about time to see some new faces in the board room and not on the pitch. By the way, Kaka deserves all his awards. He has come a long way since his early days in Brazil and he is always a joy to watch. If only he was at united.

What do you expect from a guy who fires a coach who just won him la liga. The guys a morron and it shows through his words and actions. Real will lose to Barca this afternoon, count on it.

whatever....
Kaka is not going to Madrid anyway

Barca lost 1-0

how could anyone say kaka is better then robinho?!?!? anybody that has ever seen that brasilian play knows that he is one of the best in the world. in fact you cant even compare the too because the two players play totally different roles on their teams. im not saying kaka is bad he is a great player.

I wouldn't trade Kaka for Robinho and Baptista!

Robinho is not even the best striker in the world, the most dangerous forward in the world right now is Luca Toni. Based on the last 3 years he has the most goals in Europe and he doesn't even take penalties. I'd rather have him than Robinho.

O MY

This is one of the most retarted things i have heard in a while!!

KAKA IS EFFING GOD!
