Nasri plays down transfer talk

(Soccer365.com) Highly-rated France midfielder Samir Nasri has not ruled out staying at Marseille beyond this summer.

Nasri, who has evoked comparisons with Les Bleus legend Zinedine Zidane, has been tipped to move to one of Europe's heavyweights at the end of this season.

But with OM growing as a force as the season progresses and looking likely to challenge for one of Ligue 1's Champions League spots, Nasri admits he could stay at the Stade Velodrome.

"My agent and myself are open to all propositions," he said.

"To stay at Marseille if we are in the Champions League, with a more competitive team, that would be a challenge I would be really happy with.

"You mustn't rule out anything, though. My priority is that OM finish the season well by qualifying for the Champions League and we will see what happens after that."

Nasri, who burst onto the scene last season, has had a low-key, injury-disrupted campaign but should still be named in France's squad for this summer's European Championships.
