Eto'o threatens to walk out on Barca

(Soccer365.com) Samuel Eto'o has warned Barcelona he will seek pastures new if they fail to make an improved challenge for silverware next season.

Saturday's goalless draw against Espanyol has all but ended Barca's hopes of winning the Primera Liga title while they need to get past in-form Manchester United if they are to reach the Champions League final.

Should they fail in both those objectives then it will be a second successive season without a major trophy for the Catalan giants, and Eto'o admits he will look to leave if things do not change next season, with a different country looking his likely destination.

"At Barcelona and in Spain I have reached the top," Eto'o was quoted as saying by Spanish newspaper Marca.

"If next year we continue the same without winning titles here, I will have to go to another place because what I want is to win titles."

let him go barcelona was here before eto
better than him was at the club before then and now. maradona was there also so eto
please please please.

Eto'o sounds like a self-centered player. yeah, you can have your own self-interests but he is playing for a team. It's true they are having some trouble, but Barca is a top-knotch team with loads of good players. (Eto'o should not be complaining about his team)When a team is going through hard times, you need the players to pull together. Plus, it's not like Eto'o is better then everybody else on the team. he is part of it, and he plays a role whether they win, lose, or tie.

Let him go!!!! He's not the top scorer for Barcalona, so it shouldn't hurt them!!!
