Altidore: We Should Be Feared
(Soccer365.com) With so much attention giving to their challenging placement in the Olympic 'Group of Death', U.S. striker Josmer Altidore says it's the other three teams that need to start worrying.
The Americans will duel once each with the Netherlands, Nigeria and Japan - squads full of players with a recent record of high level youth international success.
Nevertheless, Altidore believes the sky's the limit as to how far the team go in China.
"We've been practicing for this tournament for a long time," the Villarreal summer acquisition told FIFA.com. "It feels like the culmination of something."
"With the players we have and the preparations we've made, there's no telling what we can do or how far we can go in Beijing."
"It could be the toughest in the competition, but I don't think we'll be overawed by any of our opponents," asserted Altidore. "They should be concerned with us."

group of death my a$$. The Netherlands is the only quality team in that group and if they take those games seriously none of the other 3 teams will be able to touch them. I think maybe when the USA faces Nigeria and japan they could have an ounce of fear in them but seriously, Nigeria and japan are not very good footballing countries, and neither is the USA so saying that they should be feared is not saying much because it far from applies to the Netherlands
