Ferguson to C Ronaldo: Don't Make a Real Error

(Soccer365.com) Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has warned Cristiano Ronaldo that joining Real Madrid would be "the worst thing he could do".

The Red Devils boss feels the 23-year-old needs to stay at Old Trafford if he is to develop himself into one of the world's greatest footballers.

However, the Portuguese winger has refused to commit his future to United, and Madrid have continued their pursuit of the winger, despite being reported to FIFA by the Premier League and European champions.

Ferguson remains clearly unhappy about the situation and for the second time on the South African tour found himself fielding questions about a player who scored 42 goals last season.

He said: "I have a responsibility for all my players and their futures are a big concern for a coach.

"If you were asking advice and it was your son, you'd give him the best advice possible on his career.

"I honestly believe that could be the worst thing he could do; going to Real Madrid.

"He's 23 years old and he's at a fantastic football club. It's the best for him."

alex is turning in to a horrilbe coach just let him go he porbly wanted to go play in spain snice he was a kid

let him go
if its going to harm his career
thats on him
but come on it real madrid

what ever he does it will be a good choice and will keep getting better

Ronaldo is bein a stuck up little prince! You should never move if you got it good somewhere. You just won ur league and now ur thinkin about leavin!?! If he gets traded the guys that play for Madrid are gonna show ronaldo what he's coming to. He's gonna have a hard time over in Spain because their so much better than English players. One he gets over there everyone is gonna look at him and say " look at this hotshot, he thinks he's gonna be a superstar!".

I think that ronaldo should stay with manchester

if ronaldo wants 2 go let him go because he is getting better and he needs new experiences than with just Manchester But its the players choice

The forum is a brighter place tahkns to your posts. Thanks!
