Monaco Set To Unveil Adu
(Soccer365.com) Following a couple weeks of speculation, Monaco president Jérôme de Bontin is en route to the U.S. Olympic camp ground in Palo Alto, California to officially present season loan signing Freddy Adu.
The Benfica attacker scored six goals in a limited role as a rookie last season, but the summer arrival of Pablo Aimar has caused the Eagles to farm out the American Abroad.
Monaco are believed to now hold a purchase option on the teen playmaker, who is being counted on to stir the U.S. drink at the Summer Games in China next month, a duty stint that will delay his arrival in Monaco.
