Real Madrid: Let Ronaldo Go
(Soccer365.com) Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon believes Manchester United should release the firm grip they have on Cristiano Ronaldo.
United have insisted time and again that the Portuguese winger is not for sale and chief executive David Gill is expected to issue an official "hands off" warning when he meets with Calderon on Monday.
The Real supremo had seemed to have admitted defeat in their pursuit of Ronaldo on Monday morning, but later the same day claimed he would 'bet' the talented player would join the Spanish champions.
Calderon feels United are being too stubborn and insists he would welcome the chance to get involved in such a unique transfer if the roles were reversed.
He said: "I think that, first of all, it's the desire of the player (to join Real), but, of course, Manchester shouldn't be angry and they should open up their stance.
"We can't be blamed if nearly every player wants to come to Real Madrid. If I was Manchester United I'd be happy and proud to be able to negotiate such a transfer for one of my players.
"Everything would be a lot easier if United realized that they could pull off the transfer of the century."

I will like to see Ronaldo playing for Real Madrid but there is a difference between Old Traffort and the Bernabeu will he do the things his use to do? i don't know. Real Madrid is a great club the best one there is and maybe too much of a club for Ronaldo to handle

I dont think that real madrid actualy needs cristiano im not saying his not a good player but they won the liga cup without him but if they get him that would be so cool and they would probably win every game because they have robino at one side and cristiano in the other side they would be unstopable.
