Huntelaar Agent Slams Madrid Talk
(Soccer365.com) Reports linking Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar with a move to Real Madrid have been described as "nonsense" by the player's agent.
Thursday's edition of Spanish sports newspaper Marca claimed the Spanish champions were interested in signing the 25-year-old, while foreign media have gone as far as to suggest Ajax had received a bid of 25million euros for their captain.
But Arnold Oosterveer denied there had been any concrete interest in the striker, telling fcupdate.nl: "No, nothing is going on at the moment. The rumors are nonsense."
Huntelaar, who scored 33 goals in 34 appearances last season, is under contract until summer 2010.
