MLS: Beckham Isn't Leaving L.A.
MLS chief Don Garber has moved to make it very clear that the proposed AC Milan loan spell will not end with Galaxy superstar David Beckham leaving club.
The Rossoneri have made a bid to bring the England midfielder to San Siro for two months, which is now being weighed by Los Angeles management.
"People don't understand what's going on here," Garber told the New York Times. "He is not being transferred and the stories that he is not going to come back are ridiculous."
"We have loaned players out in the past during the off-season many times - it's part of the game."
"Milan wants him for two months because they know it's better than not having him at all, but we're only willing to do it if it's on our terms and if it's satisfactory to the Galaxy," he concluded. "If not, it won't be approved by us."
