Blanco Loaned To Santos Laguna

The Chicago Fire and Santos Laguna of the Mexican Primera Division have reached a tentative agreement for the loan of Fire midfielder Cuauhtémoc Blanco effective immediately.

Blanco will join Santos for the playoffs of the Apertura and rejoin the Fire for the 2009 Major League Soccer season.

Terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
