Mourinho Rejects Man City Link
Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Manchester City.
The former Chelsea boss was reportedly being lined up to replace Mark Hughes at Eastlands, and with City now under the control of the super-rich Abu Dhabi United Group it has been suggested Mourinho could be tempted to take up the role.
But chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak insisted on Monday that there were no plans to replace Hughes and that the former Blackburn boss would be given more money to spend in the January transfer window.
But while Mourinho, who left Chelsea in September of last year, makes no secret of the impression left on him by the Premier League, he is focused solely on his role at the San Siro.
He said: "Everybody knows I love English football, but everybody also knows I am Inter Milan coach."
