Scolari Unhappy With Chelsea's Home Form

(Soccer365.com) Chelsea boss Luis Felipe Scolari believes they need to improve their home form if they wish to secure the Premier League title.

The Blues failed to win their third successive home game against a struggling West Ham on Sunday, earning a solitary point from the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

The result prevented the London club from usurping Liverpool at the top of the table. A statistic not lost on the home supporters who voiced their frustrations at the end of 90 minutes.

Scloari says he is also frustrated with his side's unconvincing home form, but pleaded for patience from the expectant supporters.

"I understand what the fans gave us," said Scolari on the Sporting Life website.

"But the fans need to understand that players try their best every time and do not want to draw or lose. But sometimes we don't have the quality.

"It is important for us to win at home but at the moment we are playing better away.

"We need to win one, two or three games at home and sometimes the players have to try something different."

He added: "In the last 10 minutes we changed our football in the penalty area and I didn't want that."
