Quaresma Joins Blues On Loan Deal
Chelsea have completed the signing of Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan on a six-month loan agreement.
The 25-year-old adds to the Portuguese contingent at the club, which will increase to six players once the winger arrives at Stamford Bridge.
Quaresma, who is also known as 'Mustang' for his pace and power, is able to play on either wing and will provide cover for the injured Joe Cole.
The Portugal international started his career at Sporting Lisbon where he played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, and helped the club to the 2001/02 league championship.
Inter manager Jose Mourinho signed Quaresma shortly after taking over at the Italian club, but has omitted the winger from his Champions League squad following a loss of form.
