Kaka: Gerrard Would Suit Milan
AC Milan superstar Kaka admits that Steven Gerrard would suit the team perfectly as the Italian giants look to climb back to the pinnacle of European football.
Milan failed to qualify for the Champions League last season, and have seen their bitter rivals Inter climb within touching distance of a fourth successive Serie A title.
And Kaka, who is keen to see the Rossoneri return to their former glory, admits Liverpool captain Gerrard would make Milan a very strong team again.
"I like modern football, I like players that know how to attack and defend," said Kaka.
"If it was up to me, I would sign someone like (Steven) Gerrard, who for me is a complete player.
"He can play in any position, as a playmaker, midfielder, right-sided midfielder and he would look good at Milan."
And the Brazilian is fully aware the team need to strengthen their options if they are to have any chance of claiming silverware in the next campaign.
"A cycle is ending, a new one will begin," he said. "The time has come to refresh the squad.
"You can have a mix of experience and young players with the will to win."
