Superb Iniesta lost for words

Barcelona's tormentor-in-chief Andres Iniesta was lost for words after helping his side to Champions League glory on Wednesday.

The diminutive Spaniard was sensational in Rome as he helped Barca overcome reigning champions Manchester United 2-0.

From the moment Iniesta played in Samuel Eto'o for Barca opening goal, the Spanish side took control.

Iniesta was a constant thorn in the side for United, and he admitted Barca deserved their win - which sealed a treble for them after they completed a domestic double.

"We're the best," he told Canal+.

"There are no words to explain this, it was the perfect end to a spectacular season.

"They were the better side for six or seven minutes, but after that we had the game. Perfect."

Captain Carles Puyol was equally delighted with the success.

"This is the last title we were going for and this is an historic season," he said referring to the treble.

"After the first ten minutes, when we scored the goal - we mastered it."

Samuel Eto'o - who opened the scoring - added: "There is a God up there.

"I just don't know how to celebrate this."
