Portugal Sneak Past Bosnia Herzegovina

With Cristiano Ronaldo out injured, Portugal took care of business and defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-0 to win the two leg playoff 2-0 on aggregate and book their ticket at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The match was played with rain on and off and on a rain-soaked torn up pitch. Nani stepped up as playmaker on the goal finding Raul Meireles, who hit a low shot to make it 1-0, in the 56th minute.

It was all over for the hosts when Sajed Salihovic was sent off in the 76th minute
