Real Salt Lake Claims MLS Cup On PK's
Thanks to a second shootout victory in nine days, Real Salt Lake won their first MLS Cup, defeating the favored Los Angeles Galaxy after 120 minutes of play ended with the score tied 1-1.
Mike Magee put the Galaxy up in the 41st minute, only to have Robbie Findley scramble home a loose ball to equalize in the 64th minute.
A see-saw penalty kicks session saw RSL keeper Nick Rimando save twice and L.A. star Landon Donovan fire over, allowing defender Robbie Russell to bury the title clincher in the seventh round of kicks.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
