(Soccer365.com) U.S. Women’s National Team keeper Hope Solo has warned observers not to expect an easy road to the World Cup final four past England, who they face in Saturday’s quarterfinal.
The 26-year old made a key stop late in their group capping win over Nigeria, and will now get set to face former teammate Kelly Smith and the rest of the 3 Lionesses.
“They know how to break down a team by knowing when to go forward, when to go back,” offered Solo. “They are just organized team.”
“I played with Kelly Smith in Philadelphia (in the WUSA), so I know a lot of her tricks,” she noted.
“She is one of my favorite players to watch, one of the classiest players I've ever played with and I have the utmost respect for her.”
