Real Madrid are known for having a signature style: whether it’s Los Blancos’ footwork and movement on the field, personal swag off the field or classic, clean cut kit designs year in and year out.
This year is no different.
The adidas Real Madrid 13/14 away jersey is made with ClimaCool moisture control and is a fresh, royal blue with white accents and orange piping down the sides, similar to the home jersey.
The adidas Real Madrid 13/14 away jersey takes after the home jersey, which is in Real Madrid’s signature white with subtle, embossed white hooping around the torso, with orange and black accents on the torso and sleeves. adidas’ logo and Real Madrid crest are embroidered on the front, and Fly Emirates’ logo as the team kit sponsor is screen printed underneath.
Forward Karim Benzema, defender Alvaro Morata and midfielder Mesuit Ozil debuted the adidas Real Madrid 13/14 away jersey at an unveiling event on July 25 in the Director’s Box at Brenabeu stadium. At the event, all three players commented to the press that they were pleased with the away kit.
“I like the blue colour, which is like that the France kit, and it looks old at first glance,” Benzema said. “We’ll do well playing in it”.
“It feels nice. It includes elements of past kits and it is an honour to play in the same colour as legends of this club. Adidas have done a great job,” Morata said.
“It is original and beautiful”, Ozil said.
Real Madrid will play in this jersey for the first time on July 27 in a friendly match against Paris Saint-Germain.
