Former Real Madrid star Ronaldo says he will join Manchester City and is excited about what he and fellow Brazilian Robinho can achieve together.
The 31-year-old has been a World Football of the Year on three occasions but has been hampered recently by injuries, the most recent of which is a knee problem from which he is still recovering.
Having left AC Milan in the summer, the World Cup winner is currently without a club but says he is definitely considering a move to Eastlands.
“I like the project that Manchester City have presented me.
“They want to make the club one of the best in the world and I feel that I can help.
The player himself says he is confident of returning to his best and believes City would see great success from linking him up with English record signing Robinho.
“It is the best offer I’ve received and it will be very interesting to play with Robinho.
“Me and him, together, we can score more than 50 goals.”
